Hotel Keller Restaurant in Kreuztal

Cozy country-style restaurant. Very neat atmosphere. The food was delicious and plentiful. Game dishes are recommended.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Keller for a few days and were consistently pleasantly surprised. Accommodation: The hotel is very classic, it may seem dusty to some, but we found it very charming. The rooms and the other premises were always clean and very well maintained. The equipment is of high quality for the hotel category. Eat: We were able to test and, above all, enjoy both breakfast and dinner in the in-house restaurant. The breakfast is simple but fresh and rich, so we could go on a hiking tour lasting several hours. The dinner was then the surprise badly, we have never eaten so good and unusual home-style cuisine. Here classic food is partly reinterpreted or refined so much that one can speak of a taste explosion. In addition, the ingredients are very fresh and the food is generously portioned. Service: In the cellar house, the boss still lends a hand and service is very important. We felt well looked after. Again, there is definitely a thumbs up here. Conclusion: Here you still get performance for the money, and you can enjoy a stay here on a different level. We recommend. We say thank you!

If you want to eat here on a holiday, you should first ask if there is only a 5-course menu for 70 € or à la carte. It is obviously not possible to inform all customers upon reservation. A solution of the problem was hardly possible because the spontaneous change to a dish of the card was not possible and instead was declared that his other customers know him well and know. An apology and a polite farewell on his part were also not possible!

We were today for breakfast in the hotel basement. Although we are from the region, we were there for the first time. We liked it very much. It was very quiet, some guests were still there for breakfast. It was not a huge buffet but everything you need, especially the scrambled eggs was delicious, was always freshly prepared. There was also salmon. Various sausages and cheeses, cottage cheese and fruit, various jams and cereals. Coffee in kl. Creamer, which we liked. Especially breakfast in peace, no noise and no hassle. I can imagine that younger people would not like it because they want to see more and be seen. It suited us

Small "quaint" hotel. You can sleep there and enjoy a small breakfast. Everything okay but a bit dated. Staff is nice and friendly.

Food and service is very good. The room unfortunately not. Bed way too deep and worn out. The carpet also does not look as fresh as the rest of the room which does not include a bath and toilet. One then had to run across the hall.
